The Richmond Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred earlier this week on East Tremont Court.
At approximately 10:25 p.m. Monday, December 25, RPD
officers were called to the parking lot of a business in the 7000 block of
Forest Hill Avenue for a report of a person who’d been shot. When they
arrived, they located an adult female in a vehicle who had been shot
The victim was transported to a local hospital with
life-threatening injuries.
Based on several interviews, RPD detectives quickly
determined the victim was shot a few minutes earlier in the 2300 of East
Tremont Court. They do not believe there is an on-going threat at this time.
