Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the male in the photos who is a suspect in an attempted armed robbery and shooting last week.

At approximately 1 a.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 5, an unknown male attempted to rob a male near the intersection of Ruffin Road and Columbia Street. After the suspect brandished a handgun the victim ran away but was shot by the suspect. The suspect then fled the scene.
