Suspect Sought in Verizon Larceny

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the attached photo who stole a cell phone from a Verizon store.

At approximately 7:10 p.m. on Friday Nov. 24, the suspect entered the Verizon store in the 1500 block of West Broad Street and stated he intended to buy a phone. Surveillance footage shows the suspect then picking up the phone and running out of the store. He was last seen heading north across West Broad Street and continuing down Lombardy Street.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion who is in his early 20’s. He has a teardrop tattoo under his right eye.  At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black skull cap, a black bomber jacket, and dark pants.
