The Richmond Police
Department has identified the victim in this morning’s homicide as Michael
T. Boston Jr., 27, of the 1400 block of Claiborne Street.
At approximately
1:20 a.m., officers received a call for the report of a person down in the 700
block of Rothesay Road. When police arrived, they located Boston Jr. deceased
on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The Medical
