Richmond Police
detectives have made quick arrests in connection to Monday afternoon’s homicide
on Lakeview Avenue.
Stephon T.
Benniefield, 57, of the 2100 block of North 25th Street, Tyshawn D.
Hargrove, 24, of the 3700 block of Angela Drive, and Stephon T. Woodbury, 33,
of the 2200 block of Harwood Street were
arrested yesterday and have all been charged with conspiracy to commit
murder. Their booking photos are attached. A booking photo of Benniefield will
be released once it becomes available.
At
approximately 12:26 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the 1200 block of
Lakeview Avenue for the report of a person shot. When police arrived they
located Jerome Williams, 52, of the 2000 block of Lakeview Avenue approximately
a block away suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound.
Williams
was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
