The
Richmond Police Department has identified the victim in Sunday morning’s
homicide as Aaron T. Brockington, 30, of the 2000 block of Mansion Avenue.
Sunday
at approximately 2:49 a.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Deforrest
Street for the report of a person shot.
Officers
arrived and found Brockington down and unresponsive in the roadway. He had
suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The
Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
