At approximately 2:45 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of North 25th Street for reports of gunfire and a person down. Once on scene, they found an adult female with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
The Major Crimes division’s detectives are investigating this incident. First Precinct leadership and Command Staff through the Chief of Police responded to the scene.
