At approximately 6 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Admiral Gravely Boulevard for several reports of a shooting. Once on scene, they found an adult male with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
The Major Crimes division’s detectives are investigating whether this incident is connected to the earlier shooting in the same area. First Precinct leadership and Command Staff through the Chief of Police responded to the scene.
