Today at approximately 11:19 a.m., officers were called to VCU Medical Center for the report of a shooting victim who arrived in a private vehicle. RPD officers located an adult male who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
Detectives have determined that the male was shot in the 2300 block of Bethel Street and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
