At approximately 4:14 p.m., Richmond Police were called to the 600 block of Hazelhurst Avenue for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and located an adult male in an alley suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injury.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
