The Richmond Police Department is currently providing assistance to the Jackson State University Police Department (JSUP) in Mississippi to locate missing 21-year old Kamila N. Fipps. She was reported missing on April 19 through a report filed with the Jackson State University Police. Her photo is attached.
RPD Third Precinct detectives received information filed by Fipps’ mother on Saturday, April 23 and began looking into the matter. Kamila Fipps is believed to be in route to New York City but was last seen here in Richmond.
RPD detectives are working in coordination with JSUP and are currently providing assistance, including sharing information gathered during the investigation.
Fipps has a medical condition that may impair her judgement.
