Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in Sunday night’s homicide as Lakeith Ruffin Jr., 30, of Richmond.
At approximately 11:16 p.m., April 3, Richmond Police officers were called to the 100 block of North 19th Street for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found an adult male, Ruffin Jr., suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
