Suspect Identified in Wells Fargo Robbery

Thanks to information from the public, detectives from the Richmond Police Department have identified the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred yesterday. Detectives are now asking the public’s assistance to help locate him.

Detectives believe Carroll B. Gammon Jr., pictured below, was the suspect who robbed the Wells Fargo bank, located at 801 E. Main Street, Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m.

Gammon Jr., 40, has a last known address in the 6800 block of West Carnation Street in Richmond.

There were no injuries in the robbery.
