Suspect, Information Sought in Hit and Run Death Investigation

Richmond Police detectives are asking the public to provide information regarding a fatal hit and run that occurred Friday night.

At approximately 10:48 p.m., officers received a report of a person down in the 1400 block of Lenmore Street. Officers arrived and found an injured male down in the roadway. He was transported to a local hospital where Saturday he died.

The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.

The victim, Quan Zheng, 34, of the 1200 block of Providence Knoll Drive in Chesterfield, was reportedly delivering a food order to the 1400 block of Lenmore Street when a person drove off in the victim’s vehicle, injuring the victim in the process.
