“Stick Up” Suspect Sought

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the man in the attached photo who is a suspect in a commercial larceny that occurred Sunday.

Around 9:30 p.m., the male suspect entered the laundry business at 1221 Jefferson Davis Highway through a side door. The business was closed at the time. He used a long stick to push up security cameras to point them toward the ceiling. He then stole cash and coins from the business. It is believed the suspect fled from the store on foot northbound along Jefferson Davis Highway.

The suspect, who is a black male, wore a black baseball cap, black jacket, a black bandana across his face and baggy blue jeans.
