Suspect Sought in Wells Fargo Robbery

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a robbery that occurred this afternoon at a downtown bank.

Around 12:45 p.m. today, a white male suspect entered the Wells Fargo bank located at 801 E. Main Street and demanded money from the tellers. He claimed to be armed; however, no firearm was displayed. The suspect stole cash and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a 5’5” tall, white male, approximately 35 years old with short brown hair and a receding hairline. He was wearing a light blue shirt, khaki pants and dark-colored shoes at the time of the incident.
