Suspect Sought in Breaking and Entering

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the attached photo who is suspected of breaking into two businesses this week.

At approximately 5:10 a.m., on Wednesday, police responded to a business in the 6800 block of Forest Hill Avenue for the report of a burglar alarm. Surveillance video shows an unknown male breaking into the business by kicking in the glass door. The suspect is seen opening up a drawer inside. Nothing was reportedly taken from the business.

While on scene investigating, officers heard glass breaking from another business in the 6800 block of Forest Hill Avenue. When police arrived, the front glass door of the business had been shattered. Change was reported stolen from the business.

The suspect fled on foot and was last seen running from the parking lot toward Gravel Hill Road. He is described as a black male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a gray head cover, a dark blue T-shirt, dark pants and brown shoes.
