The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of
yesterday’s homicide on Walmsley Boulevard as Elizabeth M. Zeigler, 34, of
the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard.
At approximately 1:23 p.m., officers were called to the 4200 block
of Walmsley Boulevard for the report of a person shot. Officers responded and
found a female, Zeigler, on a sidewalk suffering from an apparent gunshot
wound. She was transported to a local hospital where yesterday she died.
