Suspect Sought in Cofer Road Carjacking

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the photo, who is suspected of a carjacking that occurred last week on Cofer Road.

At approximately 3:04 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, the victim was at the 7-Eleven store located at 2525 Broad Rock Boulevard, when she was approached by an unknown female who asked for a ride.  The suspect stated she was fighting with her boyfriend and needed to get to a friend’s house.

The victim agreed and drove the suspect to the 3100 block of Cofer Road. As soon as the victim parked the vehicle, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victim to exit the vehicle. The suspect then drove off with the victim’s vehicle.
