Arrest Made in Briel Street Shooting

The Richmond Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a shooting that occurred on Thanksgiving. 

Reginald V. Walker, 32, of the 100 block of Forest Avenue has been charged with attempted murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. His booking photo is attached.

At approximately 6:26 p.m., on Thursday, November 28, officers were called to the 3500 block of Briel Street for the report of a shooting. Officers responded and found an adult male suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound and Reginald V. Walker suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. During the investigation, detectives determined that Walker fired his weapon and struck the victim.
