Suspect Sought in Commercial Robbery on Hull Street

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect in a commercial robbery that occurred on Thanksgiving Day.

At approximately 5:54 p.m. on Thursday, November 28, the male suspect walked up to the counter at the Dollar General located at 2128 Hull Street.  He was holding a Snickers candy bar and gave the clerk $1.  As the clerk popped the drawer open for change, the suspect reached over the counter to grab money from the register, punched the clerk in the face, and fled the store on foot.

The suspect was last seen running west on Hull Street.  Officers later recovered his camouflage hoodie on the corner of Hull Street and Pilkington Street.
