The Richmond
Police Department has identified the juvenile victim of last night’s homicide on
Accommodation Street as J-Mari R. Saunders, 17, of the 1900 block of
Accommodation Street.
At
approximately 7:02 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to the 2000 block of
Accommodation Street for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, police
found J-Mari Saunders suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transferred
to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Saunders succumbed to his
injuries several hours later.
The
Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
