The Richmond Police Department’s Special Operations Division-Traffic Crash Team have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in Saturday’s fatal collision as Allenmichael Marrs, 31, of Charlottesville, VA.
Saturday, September 24, 2022 at approximately 6:13pm officers were called to the intersection of East 35th Street and East Broad Rock Road for the report of a two vehicle crash involving an SUV and an adult male motorcyclist. Preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the SUV was traveling east in the 3500 block of East Broad Rock Road attempting to turn north onto the 700 block of East 35th Street, when the motorcyclist, Marrs, who was traveling west in the 3400 block of East Broad Rock Road, collided with the SUV. The driver of the SUV remained at the crash site. Marrs was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
