Richmond Police Department detectives are investigating a vandalism incident that occurred in an RPD parking deck.
Wednesday, August 31 at approximately 12:42 a.m., an officer in the RPD headquarters parking deck observed several police vehicles that had been sprayed with black paint. The damage occurred in the overnight hours.
The RPD takes all incidents of vandalism seriously. Should the vandalism be assessed at $1,000 or more the individual responsible can be charged with a felony.
