The suspect in a shooting yesterday evening on South 14th Street is now in custody.
Richmond Police First Precinct officers arrested Joseph Osborne, 54, earlier this morning.
He is charged with felonious assault and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Osborne is a suspect in the shooting of a man who was accosted as he walked along the 500 block of South 14th Street near the 14th Street Bridge around 6:15 p.m. Friday, May 28. The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center. His injuries are not life threatening.
The shooting resulted from an argument between the two men, who knew each other. This was not a random act.
