Andre Russell Harvin has surrendered to Richmond Police. Harvin, 51, turned himself in around 10:45 a.m. at Police Headquarters.
Harvin, of 5500 Euclid Ave., is charged with murder in the shooting death last night of Jameal Smith.
Richmond Police were called to a residence at 5500 Euclid Ave. around 11:25 p.m. May 27 for a person shot. Officers found Smith, 18, of the 200 block of West Baker Street, deceased from gunshot wounds.
Richmond Police have determined Smith’s murder was the result of an argument that escalated in violence.
