At 12:48 a.m. today, Richmond Police were called to investigate a shooting at 434 Westover Hills Blvd.
When officers arrived, they found Carlos Markel Funn, 21, suffering from gunshot wounds inside a Westover Hills apartment. Funn, who lived in the 2100 block of Cedarhurst Drive, was taken to VCU Medical Center, where he later died.
Rodney Samuel Nutall, 43, of 434 Westover Hills Blvd., is charged with murder in this incident. He was arrested this morning at the scene.
The initial investigation indicates the murder was the result of a domestic altercation.
