At approximately 10:50 p.m. Sunday, the Richmond Police Department was called to the 1700 block of North 20th Street for a report of a person down inside a residence.
Officers found a male who was dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
The Department does not believe it was a random act and the motive is under investigation.
Detectives are working several leads in this case but ask the public to come forward with information. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
