Suspect Sought in Burglary

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the attached photo who burgled a home last week.

At approximately 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, the female in the photos is suspected of entering a home in the 2100 block of Floyd Avenue and stealing items including credit cards.

Detectives believe the suspect gained entry through an unlocked window. Detectives urge homeowners to lock doors and windows.

The suspect used a stolen credit card shortly after the burglary in a nearby convenience store. The photos and the video were captured on the store’s surveillance cameras.

The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 20-30 years of age, wearing a teal hoodie and a black leather jacket.
