Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the
photo who stole a coat and a credit
card this month.
Between
approximately midnight and 1 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, a coat was stolen
from a restaurant in the 2700 block of West Broad Street. The coat contained
several items, including a credit card.
The male in the photo and video is seen attempting to use the card in a Wawa on Sliding Hill Road in Ashland. The photos and the video were captured on the store’s surveillance cameras.
The
suspect is a white male who wore a yellow sweatshirt, knit cap and sunglasses.
Detectives
ask anyone with any information about this man’s identity to call Third
Precinct Detective Eric Sandlin at (804) 646-1010 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
