The victim from Wednesday’s aggravated assault on Williamsburg Road has died.
At approximately 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to the 2200 block of Williamsburg Road for the report of a stabbing.
Officers arrived and found Tyrese Minor, 36, of the 1900 block of Repp Street, Highland Springs, suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital where today he died.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of
death.
Kenya N. Williams, 43, of the 2200 block of Williamsburg
Road has been charged with aggravated assault domestic.
After the report from the Medical Examiner is available the
Richmond Police Department detectives will consult with the Commonwealth’s
Attorney’s Office about the possibility of filing additional charges.
