Suspect Sought in Valero Robbery

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the photo who robbed a Valero convenience store on Saturday.

At approximately 4:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, a male walked into the Valero convenience store located at 6220 Midlothian Turnpike, brandished an object that was possibly a gun, stole cash from the business and fled on foot.

There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-40 years of age, 5’11”–6’ tall with a medium build. He wore a blue bomber jacket, orange knit cap and black trousers. He had a cloth over his face. He possibly has a mark or scar on his right cheek.
