Suspect Sought for Shoplifting at Shockoe Bottom Grocery Store

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the man in the attached photos who stole items from the Farm Fresh on East Main Street last month.

On Wednesday, July 3, officers responded to the Farm Fresh in the 2300 block of East Main Street for the report of shoplifting. The employees told officers that an unknown man stole two packs of ground beef and an iced tea drink. Surveillance video shows the man hiding the ground beef in his pants.

Store employees attempted to detain the man, but he was able to leave the store. He was last seen leaving on foot toward the stairs leading to East Franklin Street.
