The Richmond Police Department’s Crash
Team investigators have identified the male driver killed in a single vehicle
fatality last night as Robert L. Munford, III, 37, of the 300 block of East
17th Street.
At approximately 10:34 p.m.,
Munford was operating a vehicle eastbound in the 2500 block of Magnolia Street
when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a pole and a
tree. Munford was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators with the RPD Crash Team
responded to the scene and conducted the investigation, which continues.
