Suspect Sought in Theft from Carytown Restaurant

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the individual in the photo who is suspected of theft from a restaurant in the city’s Carytown neighborhood.
At approximately 10:25 p.m.., on Saturday, Jan. 21, it was reported an adult male took a purse from a business in the 2900 block of West Cary Street. The victim stated that a customer inside the restaurant stole her purse after she walked away from the table and the suspect walked out of the restaurant.
The suspect is described as a black male with dark hair and a full beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark-colored collared T-shirt and a light-colored baseball hat.
