Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the photo
who assaulted an employee during a robbery
earlier this month.
At
approximately 5:42 p.m. on January 8, officers were called to the Family Dollar
in the 1200 block of North 25th Street for the report of an assault
and robbery.
The
male in the photo and video attempted to leave the store with a bag of
cigarettes he had not purchased. When he was confronted by an employee, the
suspect assaulted the employee before leaving the store with the cigarettes. He
fled on foot in an unknown direction.
