The Richmond Police
Department has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred last
night on the city’s south side as Leroy Williams, III, 26, of the 2800 block
of East Broad Rock Boulevard.
At
approximately 9:16 p.m., Wednesday, June 5th, RPD officers were called to the 3200
block of Stockton Street for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they
located Williams lying the roadway. He was pronounced at the scene.
The officers also
discovered another man on a nearby porch with a non-life threatening gunshot
wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
