Suspect Sought in Credit Fraud

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the man in the photo who is believed to be a suspect of credit card fraud in Shockoe Bottom.

At approximately 10:50 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, an unknown male wearing a white zip-up hooded sweatshirt with a rainbow design on the back entered the CVS store in the 2400 block of East Main Street. The suspect purchased a prepaid Visa gift card using a stolen credit card.

The suspect was then seen leaving the business in a blue vehicle.

The victim told police she had used her card at a business in the 1700 block of East Main Street. Shortly after, the victim said she received a notification that her card had been used.
