Richmond Police detectives are asking for help from the
public as they investigate a shooting last month that severely wounded a
resident of the Foxwood Apartments on the city’s south side.
Information that results in an arrest could earn the tipster
a Crime Stoppers reward.
At approximately 5:49 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, RPD
officers were called to the apartment complex in the 5000 block of Snead Road
for a report of a shooting. They located an 18 year old male who had been shot.
The victim remains hospitalized.
As a result of their investigation, RPD detectives believe
this was not a random shooting. They say if they receive the right tip, they
could make a quick arrest in this case.
They ask anyone willing to identify the shooter to call Major
