Armfield Road Homicide

The Richmond Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation as a result of a shooting in the Town and Country Apartment complex.

At approximately 2:12 a.m., officers were called to the 1400 block of Armfield Road for a report of a person down. Officers arrived and found a Latino male down and unresponsive in the parking lot of the apartment complex suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.

Detectives are investigating.
