Arrest Made in Satellite Club Robbery/Shooting

The Richmond Police Department has arrested Levi King, Jr., 36, of the 2400 block of Brady Street for a shooting that took place last March at the Satellite Club in the city. Levi was taken into custody by officers with the RPD’s Second Precinct Focus Mission Team (FMT) without incident in Richmond last Wednesday evening.

At approximately 1:26 a.m. on Sunday, March 12,
Richmond Police officers were called to the Satellite Club, 4000 Jefferson Davis Highway for a report of a person shot during a robbery. The victim, an adult male, was treated at a local hospital and, following surgery, has recovered.

Acting on information developed at the scene, RPD detectives were able to identify Levi as the shooter. He has been charged Malicious Wounding and the Use of Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
