The Richmond
Police Department is conducting a death investigation into a fatal shooting
that occurred last night in Whitcomb Court.
At
approximate 10:13 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, RPD officers responded to a call for a person shot in the 2300
block of Ambrose Street in Whitcomb Court. When they arrived they found the
body of an adult male inside a residence at that location. He had been shot.
RPD detectives
are withholding the identity of the victim until they can complete their
interviews.
Another
individual, an adult male, was also shot during the incident and driven to a
local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
There have
been no arrests.
