The Richmond
Police Department has identified Officer Gregory Helfrecht as the officer
involved in the shooting that occurred Saturday evening in Henrico County.
Officer Helfrecht,
a four-year veteran of the Richmond Police Department, remains on
administrative leave while the investigation is continuing.
The Henrico County
Police Department is leading the investigation.
