The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim who has succumbed to her injuries in a double shooting that occurred Saturday evening on Hull Street.
At approximately
8:58 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the 4000 block of Hull Street for
the report of a shooting. When police arrived, they located a vehicle that had
crashed into a utility pole. Inside the vehicle, they found Krissia
Henderson-Burrus, 21, of the 1100 block of Starview Lane, North Chesterfield and
an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Henderson-Burrus’ injuries
were life threatening.
Both victims were
transported to a local hospital to be treated. Henderson-Burrus
succumbed to her injuries early Sunday morning.
The Medical
Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
