Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide that occurred last Friday on Thorndale Lane as Davon Twitty, 31, of Richmond.
At approximately 11:09 p.m., October 21, RPD officers responded to the 5700 block of Thorndale Lane for the report of a shooting. Once on scene officers located an adult male, Twitty, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Charles Vick, IV, 28, of Chesterfield was charged with this murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied vehicle. His booking photo is attached.
