Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide that occurred last Thursday on Q Street as Isiah Coles, 33, of Richmond.
At approximately 8:54 p.m., October 20, RPD officers responded to the 1900 block of Q Street for the report of shots fired. Once on scene officers located two adult males with apparent gunshot wounds. One male was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The second male, Coles, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
