Sunday, October 16, 2022, at approximately 8:49 p.m., RPD officers responded to the 00 block of South 22nd Street for the report of a shooting. Officers located an adult male inside of a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after, an adult male arrived in a private vehicle at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. His injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.
Detectives have determined that these two incidents are related.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death of the male who died at the scene.
