Person of Interest Sought in Jefferson Davis Highway Homicide

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the male in the attached photo who is a person of interest in a homicide that occurred in the city’s south side last month.


At approximately 5:02 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10, police received a call for a person down in the 4600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. When police arrived, they located Chanti N. Robinson, 29, of the 3000 block of 2nd Avenue deceased from gunshot wounds in the rear parking lot of a business.

The person of interest is described as a black male with a grey beard and his hair pulled back in a pony-tail. He can be seen wearing a black and white jacket, black pants, and dark colored shoes.
