Arrest Made in Highland Park Stabbing

A Richmond man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred Tuesday morning in the north side neighborhood of Highland Park.

Fred T. Hearn, 49, of the 100 block of Brookland Park Boulevard, was taken into custody today by Fourth Precinct officers. He is charged with malicious wounding and unlawful entry. His booking photo will be released once it is available.
At approximately 6:16 a.m. on June 7, officers responded to the emergency room of a local hospital where an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds was being treated for life-threatening injuries. Investigation revealed he had been stabbed in the 2400 block of Fourth Avenue.
