The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of
this morning’s homicide in the Oak Grove neighborhood.
At approximately 10:54 a.m., officers responded to the 1000
block of East 15th St Street for the report of a person down. Upon
arrival, they quickly located the body of Ronald C. McWilliams Jr, 23, of
the 1000 block of East 15th Street, in a back yard.
Detectives are investigating the death as a homicide. The
Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death following an autopsy.
